New Covenant Presbytery to open temporary office next week

PNNews.org will post damage assessments as they are available. There are no eye-witness assessments of church buildings in the most devestated areas. Clear Lake Presbyterian Church, which has electricity, will host a temporary office for the presbytery because the Houston office has no electricity. Read the whole story

In San Antonio, some Methodist and Presbyterian congregations join Baptist congregations to support the work at the <br />"Medical Special Needs" shelter for huricane evacuees. The shelter is run by Baptist Child & Family Services. Meals for multiple shelters are prepared in the kitchen of Trinity Baptist Church Tri-Points facility with the help of the disaster relief ministry of Texas Baptist Men.
