Presbyterian Neighbor News is a network of news sites organized geographically. This "SUN EDITION" represents the first neighborhood in that network. We are still in development, but are making this site available in order to welcome comments from readers and our collaborators.
PNNews.org is made possible only through a partnership of synods of the Presbyterian Church (USA). It is a complement to the existing Presbyterian resources including the denomination's official website, pcusa.org. Our goal is to promote the mission and cooperation of Presbyterians locally and globally.
To submit comments, you do need to sign up for a free "account." None of your contact information will be shared in any way. Your account simply helps us measure how many people are participating in this site. You also have the option of receiving weekly digests.

Great idea with a lot of potential! But if you really want this to work you're going to need to have multiple RSS feeds for various kind of content. There are a large and increading number of people like myself who don't regularly visit news websites any more, but rather have 50-60 blog/site feeds in their Google reader or other aggregator.
Another suggestion is to have a place where people who comment can include a URL with their name. We Web 2.0 folk love to plug our blogs. :)
